Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice that targets the deeper connective tissues of the body, such as fascia, ligaments, and joints. Postures are held for longer periods, typically 3-5 minutes, allowing the body to relax into each pose and encouraging deep release. This practice cultivates stillness, mindfulness, and an increased range of motion while balancing the more dynamic, yang-based activities of life. Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels, offering a calming, restorative experience that nurtures both the body and mind.
